Texas Hospitalist LL7685x – San Antonio

Hospitalist needed in the San Antonio,Texas,area. The physician schedule is MonFri 7 am to 5 pm with 1:3 weekends and equally shared night call. The night call is 5pm to 7am. A physician can go home at 5 pm and if they receive a call for admission between 5pm to 10 pm they need to go in and do the admission. After 10 pm they can handle the patient with telephone orders and catch up the admissions at 7am the next day when they go in. The night call rotation varies depending on how many physicians are on the team. Average of 1:4 to 1:5,about 1 night per week. If a team member is on PTO or CME it may go to 1:3. Again it is not onsite overnight only until 10 pm. Compensation is productivity model with base guarantee. Productivity is 50% of collections. 50% of everything they collect goes to them. They have a base guarantee of $190K. They are guaranteed to make $190K,however they can make much more based on their collections. There is also a quality bonus of 5% of their annual income.
